Ozark on Netflix

Just finished ep1 of S2. This show is crazy good. I don't think anything I've watched has ever been so unpredictable.

i love this show. i thought this season was outstanding and they've really turned things on their ear going forward. not the biggest fan of the wyatt/grandma deal...ugh...but past that...great. thought the guy that played the brother did a fantastic job.

The first episode of season 3 was good and the last 5 mins of the season finale was good. Other than that ehh. The whole Wyatt Grandma thing is wierd and if I wanted a headache from hearing constant b*tching and complaining from a woman I’d just go get married. I definitely don’t need it on tv 🤷🏻‍♂️.

McRib and I started this show a few weeks ago. We're halfway through S3. First of all, unpredictable is the only word to describe Ozark. Wife is becoming a big fan of Ruth.
It's wrong to hold it as my comparison but Breaking Bad is the best series I've ever watched. Ozark isnt written as well. All these folks dying but the Sheriff doesn't even do the bear minimum of investigation. He's essentially a transporter of the dead. Main characters under FBI scrutiny but they can access their stashed Cartel money whenever they want. And the rival Casino boat destruction was completely unbelievable.
The good outweighs the bad by a wide margin. Really looking forward to finishing S3 and then watching S4 to see how things wrap up for everyone.

We finished S3 today.

I better understand why the Sheriff is lackadaisical in his approach.

The actor that played Wendy’s brother wasn’t even nominated for an Emmy for that role, and that was absolutely criminal.

In my opinion, his performance in this past season of Ozark was about as good of an acting performance as there’s ever been. The taxi cab monologue alone was worth an Emmy.
