There is plenty of excitement/hype going into this season, considering some of the unfounded hype(Kenny O'Neil) and the underhyped players(Lucas Taylor) from last season. I came up with 11 under/over players from this season that has got some attention and others that have not. Do you think theses players will have numbers above or below what I list
Gerald Williams-50 tackles-If he is DE he will be very close to 50, if he is LB X2
Bradden Warren-25 receptions-He had 31 rec, 306yds his FR year @FSU, he also is our best receiving threat at TE IMO
Jon Crompton-3,000yds passing-In order for the west coast style to work he better be around 3,000yds, I don't have the stats but i believe Richmond QB was well over 3,000yds last yr
Arian Foster-1,000yds rushing-he should have that after the Wyoming game.
Daniel Lincoln-75% FG%-he was 21-29 last yr, I have faith he can do it again
Rico McCoy-125 tackles- he will be over 100 tackles, he has a better supporting cast this yr than him and Mayo had last yr so I don't think he will have to make 125 tackles this year. but he and Gerald Williams(provided he is the starting MLB) will both have over 100 tackles this yr.
Eric Berry-7 int-He will have atleast 7, because CB are better this year and the QB will have to pick their poison.
Ben Martin-5 sacks,-this depends our where Gerald Williams will play, if GW plays DE then prob not but if he plays MLB then most definitely yes atleast 5 if not more.
Dennis Rogan-punt ret for td. Special team dosen't seem to be a special concern to CPF because its pretty much a group effort by the entire coaching staff with no one having a specailty in special teams. IMO, it will be pure luck not coaching if we get a return.
Montario Hardesty-healthy 10 games-I'm optimistic and will say yes
Lucas Taylor-1,000yds receiving-I don't think so, he had exactly 1,000yds last yr with less talent around him but with better talent this yr i think his work load will decrease. i say between 500-750 yds.
