There is plenty of excitement/hype going into this season, considering some of the unfounded hype(Kenny O'Neil) and the underhyped players(Lucas Taylor) from last season. I came up with 11 under/over players from this season that has got some attention and others that have not. Do you think theses players will have numbers above or below what I list
Gerald Williams-50 tackles
Bradden Warren-25 receptions
Jon Crompton-3,000yds passing
Arian Foster-1,000yds rushing
Daniel Lincoln-75% FG%
Rico McCoy-125 tackles
Eric Berry-7 int
Ben Martin-5 sacks
Dennis Rogan-punt ret for td
Montario Hardesty-healthy 10 games
Lucas Taylor-1,000yds receiving

id say thats the minimum each of them had better get unless they are injured. We are on our way back to the top!

Gerald Williams-50 tackles - under (only because I'll believe he's on the field when I see it)

Bradden Warren-25 receptions - under, newcomers usually don't make a huge impact for us

Jon Crompton-3,000yds passing - under, only because I think we'll be more run oriented this year

Arian Foster-1,000yds rushing - over

Daniel Lincoln-75% FG% - push, I think he'll be right at 75%

Rico McCoy-125 tackles - under, but close

Eric Berry-7 int - under, but close, teams will try to scheme away from him

Ben Martin-5 sacks - under, but our DE production will improve over last year as a whole

Dennis Rogan-punt ret for td - push/over

Montario Hardesty-healthy 10 games - under

Lucas Taylor-1,000yds receiving - under, I don't think he'll be our leading receiver this year

Because Hancock is a better athlete than Lucas.
And when schools have to choose whether to scheme against the former All SEC senior receiver or the seemingly unknown Quentin Hancock, who would who you take? And Denarius Moore I think will be about even with Taylor I think. He had a strong finish.

Because Hancock is a better athlete than Lucas.

I don't believe that for a second. Hancock has good size. He's relatively slow compared to some of UT's receivers. Lucas Taylor has moves and shiftiness that make Quintin look like a statue.

How is Hancock a better athlete than Taylor? Taylor has played way more than him and Hancock came in a year after him. Taylor didn't have to redshirt either.

Don't you get it? True freshman with limited athleticism earn punt return duties at big time SEC schools all the time.

I've got the same question, Vol in AZ, why Foster < 1,000... because of split time or someone else stepping up?

I've been hearing Gerald Williams is going to be a DE from other sites. We need some confirmation from JG or someone in the know. If he's a DE, then under, if a MLB then over.

As for Foster under 1,000 yards, my gut tells me Creer will demand some of the load by playing well, and Foster will be fresh all season, and he'll catch a ton of balls, too.

G. Williams- depends on position, probably over
Warren- prob under but close
Crompton-over
Foster-under, he won't need to carry as much this year, YPC will be significantly better
Lincoln-under, won't have many close kicks as we will be better in orange zone
McCoy- over 100, less than 125
Berry-under, who is going to throw his way?
Martin-over
Rogan-over
Hardesty-under
Taylor-under, will share too much time with Jones, Paige, Briscoe, Rogers and Moore. Could this be the year Hancock plays in the fall like he has in the spring?

Gerald Williams-50 tackles

Give me the under

Bradden Warren-25 receptions

Under

Jon Crompton-3,000yds passing

I'll take the under for 80 krazibillion dollars

Arian Foster-1,000yds rushing

Actually, over

Daniel Lincoln-75% FG%

Given much practice he is going to get at it, as long as his leg doesn't fall off from too many attempts, I'd say over

Rico McCoy-125 tackles

Hilarious. Under, please.

Eric Berry-7 int

I think that is right on the number. Push.

Ben Martin-5 sacks

Under

Dennis Rogan-punt ret for td

Sure, ok. Push.

Montario Hardesty-healthy 10 games

Depends on whether you consider drug withdrawal healthy. I'll go under.

Lucas Taylor-1,000yds receiving
