2 games before sportswriters stop slurping Andre Woodson...

Take a look at his stats through 6 games... 1535 yds, 18 TD's...no doubt pretty good

BUT...

If Ainge hits his averages against Miss St. he'll have 1525 yds, 13 TD's in 6 games

So with games against LSU and UF coming up...will it take more or less than the 2nd game for writers to stop carrying his jock for him?

He won't put up squat against LSU, causing people to get off him, and when he continues his slide against UF everyone will confirm what they've already said.

Actually, I believe it's Woodson that has made Kentucky better not Kentucky making him. He is a great QB but Kentucky can't stop anybody.

They won't score on two excellent defenses in the next two weeks either. He's not bad, but he looked lost at times against USC. He will just struggle against two dangerous D's. I'm not downing Woodson though.

Woodson is a really good QB...but I guess I'm a homer cause I think Ainge's numbers and the way he has pretty much been the offense this year (until UGA) makes me think he deserves as much love as Woodson....and obviously he's not getting it

hes not going to get it either because its ut....lee, kirk and sean may hate ut and its evident on game day....who crowns these guys experts anyway...Lee Corso what has he done, coach at the powerhouse in the midwest Indiana give me a break...Kirk Herbstriet i think he was like a 3rd stringer for the Buckeyes....Sean May was actually an all american at Pitt and i dont believe he ever gave up a sack on the OL....and the other guy that heads gameday believe he is just a journalist major from colorado....sorry to rant on, but i totally agree that ainge deserves wayyyyy more credit than he gets...

I agree. Ainge had the broken finger also and he has still played great. Ainge doesn't make many mistakes throwing the ball either. He keeps the interceptions down and his comp. percentage is high too.

Going off topic but speaking of LSU and their defense.

Anyone see Glenn Dorsey punk out the Florida center with the forearm shiver to the chin?

That's the defense I love. Dirty, nasty, no holds barred, diesel defense. I love it.

It gets nasty down there with the game on the line, no doubt. That's why they call them the trenches. Your O line has to expect that kind of stuff.

Ainge will benefit if he does not throw that much.

Reminded me of a young Mike Tyson. That was pretty sweet!
