I'm gonna say over 10.
So far we have Jack Jones and Cecil Cherry mentioning they will EE. We have plenty of room because Butch said almost all our seniors will graduate on December.

I would guess they will bring in as many EE's as they can, just as they did this year.

I finally found a roster showing just scholarship players for UT's '14 season posted by "EvansEleven". It shows 14 SRs on scholarship. So if that is accurate, the REAL number as of today for 2015 spots is 12(minus 2 for Dews & Robertson).

So 12-2=10 and 10-7=3

So we have 3 spots left for the 15 class?

Lebvol where ya at ya numbers cruncher.

I think some way, some how, numbers will play into this, no?

Why does Robertson count against the 2015 class. He didn't blue or gray shirt did he? Just signed his LOI and will be here in the fall right?

If dull = No surprises or flips on NSD, then I'm all for a dull class

By dull I mean not many commits to look forward to like this past year. It doesn't matter either way I trust out staff will do/ is doin what's best for our program.

Face it guys, we may never have a recruiting cycle as exciting as 2014. Due to the perfect storm of CBJ's first full class, the legacies, recruits recruiting each other thru social media, the large class and the large number of EEs. Hope this is the foundation that helps us build for the future. Maybe we will see victories on the field that translate into more and more great recruits wanting to wear the orange and each class gets better and better with the only suspense on NSD is how many 4 and 5 stars sign.

I thought he had actually signed with the 2014 class as well. Some said he signed something, but it was not a NLI.

The 2015 class will run up against the 85 man limit once all the kids show up in Fall 2015. If he's a blueshirt and goes on scholarship in the fall 2014 it will still limit the # of kids in the 2015 class as the total roster will have 1 more scholarship the following year.

The blueshirt helps avoid the 25 man limit (I think both the signing limit and the initial counter limit) but doesn't help the 85 man limit. The 25 man limits should be non-issues for next year's class.

The 25 man limit depends on how the rules are interpreted by the SEC. Do not be surprised if there is some rules adjustment if Butch has used that blue shirt loophole. We also do not know how many of the preferred walk-ons have been promised scholarships. All of it should prove interesting.

Seems like we should have more than 14 Scholarships opening up for 15.

Here is a list of players that are juniors (from ESPN, dated I'm sure):

6 T. page?, 14 Worley, 15 Lane, 19 D Young, 19 T Coombes ?, 21 Riyahd, 24 Summerhill. 27 Coleman, 31 J Pickett, 35 Toney, 42 Brodus, 43 Darr, 43 D. Summers ?, 45 A. Bolen, 45 AJ, 54 J. Williams, 56 Maggitt (redshirted though, could play 2 more years!!!), 59 G. Grieco, 65 J Gilliem, 66 M. Pair, 75 M Jackson, 80 D West?, 84 W Quinn, 85 B Downs, 87 J Carter, 93 G Clark

I don't which ones are on scholarship though. Some of these names I have never heard of too.

That's 25 and at least 17 should be on Scholarship. Also, I don't think we have been able to rerecruit Tiny's slot yet, have we? Was Tom Smith on scholarship?

Would like to see the entire class EE.

Something I just thought about. If UT makes it to a bowl game, could that play into how many could EE? If the SR is obviously still part of the team with a game to play at the end of Dec/early Jan, is his spot still available for an EE coming in in Dec?

I believe it would still be open, as I understand it, because scholarships are based on academic semesters. So if they're graduating in December there is no worry about them enrolling early since they aren't enrolling for the fall semester.

The 85 limited goes into the spring, you can't have more than 85. Seniors that are enrolled in the spring are counted.
