How are we getting 25?

Quite simple actually, they score first and we hit 2 field goals. Then we score and go for 2 to make it a 7 point game, but fail, so we are up 12-7. Then we score again and make it 19-7. they score and make it 19-13. We score again and try to go up by 14, so we go for two and fail.

Ok, maybe it's not so simple.

LSU will probably beat ND worse than Oklahoma will beat Boise. Just my opinion.
hm...on first glance i'd say no....but it truly depends on how J Russell plays. If he gets careless with the ball, he alone could keep ND in that game.

that said, i expect LSU to run over ND and pressure the hell out of Quinn.

you may be right on that one. but OK wins by double digits, likley more than two tds, easy over BSU

Ooh yeah, I remember watching that now. They didn't actually try for two, they botched the snap and the holder picked it up and threw it to a Gator in the endzone.

Definitely a "This is why you're Vanderbilt" moment.

Most every team that goes to the championship plays a mediocre team that plays them tough. I don't think Penn State is that good.

For one they went 8-4 and lost all 4 games against Top 25 teams. They barely beat an underachieving Michigan State team 17-13. Not to mention their only brightspot might be their defense which is pretty tough and finished 16th in the country in Total Defense. Their offense is 55th in Total Offense, and 58th in Passing offense. So we should be able to shut down Morelli farely well.

The fact of the matter is, this is a revenge game for us. They spanked us last time we played and I know Fulmer remembers it because he was an assistant coach.

Ut wins big....

Tennessee 38
Penn St. 17

no. phil was actually tha head coach last time they spanked us. was in tha citrus bowl, 31-13

If what has happened to the Big 10 thus far is any indicator then PSU is in a world of trouble. Purdue held PSU to 12 points(4 FGs) earlier this year, on what was an extremely windy day, but no TDs is bad. They then went on to get shredded by Maryland. Minnesota couldn't hang on to a 30+ point lead against a mediocre Texas Tech team.

Texas Tech didn't look mediocre in the last quarter. WOW, they were explosive, and wanting it! They made history during that game. I actually slept through most of the last half of the Maryland/Purdue game. Then switched to the dreaded NFL network for the end of the TT/Minn game, and I was shocked. I had written the Raiders off, when I saw the 38-7 score. Boing, what a game, and was on football OD.
