Currie is a YES man.
I had high hopes that hed be different but hes proved to be an ignorant ass hole who has no reason to be making any business decisions.
He shouldnt even have a job right now for considering someone like Schiano.
No, i dont there is a positive to what took place today.
Agree. We passed on Fulmer and Blackburn as AD...two folks who bleed UT orange and hired this guy who hasn't the common sense to vet a prospect. Common sense says if I have a doubt about someone with some real/perceived baggage, I'm going to release it to get public reaction. Think most thought rumors were a joke.
Currie, and UTAD/boosters in charge, MAY have literally set us back for decades. Forget the damn $350MM Neyland improvements. This single event could literally have ripple effects on support for Vols for A LONG TIME. Thanks UTAD.
Currie has proved to be like every other AD in UT history. But, instead of looking at Currie being the enemy here, lets remember who hired him instead of the fan favorite David Blackburn. Theres a reason us real Vol fans wanted a Tennessee guy like Blackburn to channel the fans frustrations and hire a guy that will bring Tennessee back to prominence.
Greg Shaino being offered the keys to our program is an extension of the bs that got UT here in the first place.
