There's only so much you can do at TBA.
You have to wait in line all day to get it...so that means really all you can do is paint yourself, if you wanna sit there in it all day.
You can't bring signs, props, anything in unless somehow it's smuggled. Even then, it's going to get taken away from you by the ushers.
Which students/how many are going to show up at any given game is up in the air. Hard to get any solid cheers going.
The student section is completely spread out.
There aren't any cheer practices, and if there were, noone would go. That's the nature of TN sports. (Notice the lack of a Midnight Madness this year?)
Further, like others have said, there's not much anymore that's "original." Every school does the same ol' thing as every other school. Duke has a reputation for being crazy and rowdy...but hell, rowdy or not, anything's gonna sound loud in Cameron.
That said, anything UT does we'll be "copying" someone else, whether we know it or not. It's just a tough situation to come up with stuff, but I really don't care about witty chants and what not.
I have fun with the Newspaper deal, and then once that's over, I just cheer, yell, and jump around. Who cares about wit if we're being loud?
