The premise so far has been based on recruiting, and rightfully so. This staff was built for that purpose.

They answered some questions today on wiether the could game plan, and put it to good use. Both sides of the ball did.

I have seen UM out prepare and out coach some good staffs in the past. I think he was out done today. The best team, with the best players, and QB won the game. Once the emotion of the game was gone, and it was about football, they stood out.

Great job guys!

The future for UT is looking bright. I just hope everyone has some patience, as next year we will probably struggle a bit as well. Our schedule gets tougher & we'll have only Stephens & Bray as a true FR, & any other QB recruit we get.

But I think we will all see the results in 2011.

Long pants are long!

Seriously though, I hope none of them leave any time soon.

I think it'll be safe to say we won't lose our coaches for a couple years at least.
When we start really rolling (Probably '11) there's a possibillity some of the assistants will get head coaching offers. But I don't see why anybody would want to be anywhere else.
It's great to be a Tennessee Vol!

Yes, our staff can coach. We're one decent QB away from being an SEC contender.

The days of having to "out-talent" are over. And better yet, our talent will be just as good as anyone else in a couple more years.

Future is bright men.

Good post.

A QB, and some overall depth. Which we are both workin on.

According to Rivals we are #4 in the next recruiting class and its a long time til signing day. Give CLK a couple of years and Neyland Stadium will be the most feared place to play at in the nation. IMO

I don't see everyone on this staff being here next year.

Hope I am wrong... but I have faith that this CLK will find the best possible replacements when that time comes.

Outstanding game prep by the coaches!!!!!! A couple of completed passes and we win the game!!! It is tough to leave with the loss and feel good about the loss at the same time but it has been a long time since I can honestly say a Tennessee team left it all on the field. GREAT EFFORT, great game, great future!!!!!!!

Yea I couldn't be more proud of this staff and this team. We're gonna suprise some folks this year and it won't be long til we'll be punching our tickets to Atlanta. This guy can coach and these players stood up for him in a very difficult situation today. Take notice, SEC, we're comin'. Its Time!

Absolutely! That's what I had been saying about Fulmer's regime for the last few years. It wasn't so much the losses as it was the WAY we were losing! It looked like we didn't even belong on the same field as Florida, Bama, Georgia, etc. Today we looked like a competitive SEC foe for Florida! For that alone I feel good. And you're right, I'm proud of our boys for leaving it all on the field.

Losing is still losing no matter how well the coaching staff does. Tennessee continues to be a group of well coached losers. Heck, The Great Pumpkin put well coached losers on the field. I thought The Great Pumpkin was fired so that well coached winners would take the field. Oh well. Kiffin is a waste of money if the only thing he brings to the table is a bunch of well coached losers.

I thought clk managed crompton's shortcomings well.. the two INT's were deep in florida territory... jc seemed to be a bit more comfortable rolling out to his right and passing... think we'll see more of that?

they were in the game until the end with jc at qb... says a lot

I have to say that this was the best coaching job we have seen in a long time. Hate to say that when we lose.
