I think with Oku on board now we have a lot of versatility in the return game.

Let's see we have:

David Oku: Potential KR

Marsalis Teague: Potential KR

Nuke Richardson: Potential PR

Eric Gordon if he gets in: Potential PR

We finally have a return game that's a threat.

Id like to see A. Paige get a shot at returning kicks too. Seems like I remember he was thought of as being pretty fast.

Dont forget Nyshier Oliver as well...

There was a lot of speed in this class, and I'm looking forward to having an actual return game in the years to come.

Well I think Paige would be better for us at receiver. These guys fit so well in the return game with their size, speed, and ability. Oliver is a canidate too though. I really like our options.

Lockdown, I agree those are exciting newcomers, but I don't think Rogan and Creer were all that bad and if there were shortcomings in our return game it might have been in the overall set-up. I don't know. In any case, better days ahead.

Every year folks here promote the newcomers as kick returners. I'm not suggesting they can't be. I'm not suggesting CLK will do it like in the past. What I am suggesting is that the newcomers probably don't outclass all of the returning players who returned kicks.

Gerald Jones was very good as is Rogan. If CLK decides he MUST have big plays in the kick return game then he'll have little choice but to use Berry.

Do we want two Freshmen returning kicks without seeing any film on them??? Just kidding, thank goodness for Coach Kiffin and real talent evaluation!!!

I like Nukeese and Oku back there..both are small, quick, and shifty

Rogan does a good job as well.....he has that wiggle....not overly quick

Creer can focus on rb now....

From watching Oku's recruiting vids, I think his hop step would be perfect for a punt returner.

Those guys we'll be full time starters on O and D. These young guys will make their mark on this unit.

Gerald Jones should have taken two or three to the house but he was run down before he turned the corner. Rogan is a good return guy but these guys will be better. They have more explosiveness. I just want a guy back there that opponents fear. Also for people that don't want freshmen back there, Florida uses freshmen all over their ST's. Brandon James was a freshman when he first started returning kicks and we all know what he's done to us every year.

Getting someone who can actually coach a kick return team will be all the difference in the world,In years past IMO we have been very poor

i went to the same high school as Teague and i went to watch Henry County play Hillsboro which is the school Eric Gordon goes to and watching both of them was amazing and from seeing each ones speed in person i think either one could return too

Teague and Creer. I'd prefer to keep Oku fresh so we can run him 20+ a game.

I'm sorry, but Creer is the #1 RB next year and Oku will see the return/st action. Oku is an all purpose back (aka special teams beast, halfback, slot reciever) and Creer is a D1 tailback who has been in school for several years. It is gonna be Creer at RB and Oku at ST.

That may be true, but I don't know how to reconcile that with Eddie Gran's comments about making sure that our best players play special teams....
