Troy bus involved in accident
Troy's defense almost didn't make it to The Swamp Saturday after it's bus was involved in an accident on Interstate-75. And it was a car of Florida fans that was responsible.
The Trojans were traveling north on I-75 from their team hotel in Ocala Saturday when several cars carrying Florida Gator fans drove along side the Trojans buses, Troy sports information director Ricky Hazel said. One of the cars abruptly cut off the bus carrying Troy's defensive players. The car hit the bus and careened off the Interstate. One of the state troopers escorting the Troy caravan stopped while the buses continued northbound.
"I guess they were trying to take out our defense," Hazel said.

Count on it, UT will show up.

BTW I was in Tampa all last week and I was surprised to see in the Tampa and St. Pete newspapers all the press that USF is getting and the paucity of articles about the Gators and Seminoles. Looks like that the state really does have a fourth major college program.

Oh yeah, that is a big deal over there. Trust me, UF is still numre uno in terms of depth and intensity of fanbase, but with Florid aplaying Troy and South Florida about to go for its shot to prove itself worthy, USF got tons of attention in that area.

Well from what I've heard, as UT arrived at the LSU stadium, there were crowds of fans rocking the bus, and throwing things at the bus. Apparently bus windows were broken.

Well, before anyone goes and assumes that it was intentional, or the unintentional consequence of an intentional act, let's see what comes of it.
