could've done without being reminded but I applaud you for you're work. Obviously not the best play calling in the world but there was certainly other reasons we lost.

Also, a favorite of mine:

Foster fumbles for UF TD, then come back with

Foster outside for loss of 1.

Great sequence.

So you're saying it wasn't so complicated Meyer needed a cameraman to steal signals?

LAW when I did this i watched the game again and you guys clogged the middle real well. We had better luck outside or passing.

Yes, I agree. I had confidence that the Florida offense would put up some scores and they did better than I had hoped. But it was our defense that really outperformed all expectations.

If memory serves, Tebow outrushed UT on his own. Plus, as you and I discussed the other day, what was with all of these behind the line of scrimmage passes? I remember one that worked, but the rest never amounted to anything.

Fulmer said today that he can't understand why the run offense has been so bad on third and short. Says they look great at it in practice. http://www.wbir.com/sports/story.aspx?storyid=49211

Here's a thought. Maybe they look good because they are running it against the UT defense.

I had that same thought during all the preseason reporting of how well things were looking in fall drills.

.

Yes, but this defense is nothing compared to last year's. I think that will catch up with you at LSU and maybe one other game.

The offensive game plan against UF looked like something from the 1980s---a total joke. Cutcliffe needs to retire--he's lost it.

In the first 3 quarters we had 6 3rd downs with 5 yards to go or less. One of those was an illegal procedure penalty on us and in the other 5 we gained a total of 1 yard, with no first downs.
WE had a 3rd and 2 got 1 yard.
a 3rd and 1 got 0
a 3rd and 3 got 0.

IMO - that is the ballgame right there. Particularly since most of this was in the first half.

I do not understand what is wrong with our running game.

I think Fla. said we are goin to stop the run up the middle and if Tenn. can gain yards on sweeps then let them. It was coached well.

Makes you wonder if one being so predictable and unsophisticated causes the other to follow, doesnt it?

I am really having a hard time seeing what D is going to stop the UF scheme/talent on a consistent basis for the next few years. Some D coordinator is going to make some money when he comes up with a plan that levels the field.

I forgot to add - in the first half we had 8 plays of 3rd and 6 or longer. We converted 4 of those. One was the Chris Brown TD.
One of the non-conversions was an interception.

We will see if LSU can do it. If anyone can it will be them.

For all we know, South Carolina can do it. I mean, its not like Florida has faced a good, or even decent, defense so far this year.
