plain and simple. Peyton Manning couldn't play behind these guys. No disrespect to Kiffin and Co., but the O-Line just isn't going to get the job done in the SEC. Kiffin himself should have taken his own advice and played from the Shotgun all day to give his QB time.

I agree with you on playing the shotgun. It would give J-Crompton more time to see downfield instead of focusing on dropping back in the pocket. It would hurt our pro-set run attack because when we run they would know because we go into an isolation set.

The O-Line play wasn't the best to be sure, but Crompton just plain stunk it up today.

When you have 0 time to get rid of the ball, constantly having to look over your shoulder to make sure a defender isn't breathing down your neck, and you receivers are having a case of the drops, then your QB isn't going to have a good day no matter what. Time to move on to next week and get this O-Line better, because it didn't matter if we had a 7ft 400lb guy that's a perfect 99 in NCAA 10, he would get sacked everytime.
