I think Janzen will do great returning punts, but it does risk injury though.

Bad choice he is too much of a factor on defense to be running punts back I think it will be either Dixon or maybe s back up DB

Confirmed or speculation? I don't like risking star players on special teams...

Hm I like it. Although I thought Raijon Neal could also be a good candidate for the position. But I am no coach. Janzen could be a real impact player for us now, on both Defense and Offense.

Just saying, Rod Wilks sure carved up my high school football team returning punts in the 5A Title game a few years ago.

If this is confirmed I don't see this lasting into the season. He is to valuable, we have a wealth of other players who could contribute at this position. Meline, Rogers, Oku, Hunter etc. etc.

it sure hurt Alabama to have their best DB running back Punts for 4 yrs. :ermm:

Terry Fair, Dale Carter, anyone?

There is a small difference between Ravenwood HS and SEC defenses. Wilkes has always been slow, even at the HS level. *Ducks for cover from the Rod lightning bolt*

You are right, check the UTube on Dixon he will be one of the major ST treats next year...he may do both kickoffs and punt returns...:dance2:

You can't judge how good a returner a guy is by how quick he is. The most athletic guy is not always the best returner. If you find someone as athletic as Jackson and they have the KR intangibles you wind up with something explosive. However, there have been plenty of guys with blistering speed that couldn't get it done retunring kicks (as when the Titans tried with Chris Johnson - in practice - and it wasn't going to work).

You just have to put them in there and see how they do but JJ sounds like a great pick.
