Our Failures This Season

have to fall on the decision to change our defense over to the 3-4 scheme. We were beaten badly by the top teams last year after putting up a good fight in the first half of each game. This season, every game that we have lost has been a defensive comedy show. We have made every QB and RB look like Heisman candidates.

With his job on the line, DD went along with the switch so if he is replaced, he only has himself to blame. We, as fans, expected more and I am as disappointed as everybody else. There has not been any noticeable improvement by our defense all season. I am hopeful that we can win out but not confident that it will happen.

The team seems to keep fighting, but the results are not showing it.

Where was this thread like 4 weeks ago? Why is everybody just now blaming the defense?

The defense sucks but have you seen us tackle or generate any sort of pass rush? That ain't Sal's fault kids.


Everytime we tried to tackle the tight end we simply ran into him ed reed style....no wrapping up. just simply trying to bump a man that's twice the size of our corners.


Plus have you noticed how bad we suck at moving laterally on defense? Got to be more athletic shedding blocks and moving sideline to sideline...

Truth, most were predicting 7-5 or 8-4. I wonder which of the games we've lost were predicted as wins. I personally thought we would win 1 against either GA, Miss St, or SC. All were close games.
