We put forth the best defensive effort this season on the best spread offensive coach in the nation. Our defense is just bad right now due to personnel.

Our defense is depleted. Monte is an excellent coach, but he isn't a miracle worker.

And in a matter of seconds, they're from the 5 to midfield.

If they score in any manner on this drive, it's a sign that we actually have a game on our hands.

Yeah, that's what I meant. Fulmer left us absolutely nothing on defense. What was the school paying him for?

It doesn't matter why. They still have to play. It doesn't help when Eric Berry gives them a first down and blows our fake punt play with big penalties.

They have too long to throw. Monte needs to blitz, unless of giving their qb plenty of time to pick apart the inexperienced cb and lbs.

Fulmer has been blamed for everything bad on this team. The problem with the defense is that the starters are hurt. Starters that Fulmer recruited. Kiffin is playing the backups, who are not gonna produce like the starters. Fulmer did recruit some good players. How about the two losers that Kiffin recruited? I'm glad Fulmer's gone, but keep things in perspective.

Just 'cause they're starters doesn't mean they will be going in the 1st round of the NFL draft.

Fulmer's recruiting over the past 3-4 seasons was absolutely atrocious. The numbers don't lie -- we didn't have a top 20 class in two of his last three years.

Fulmer is absolutely to blame for everything bad on this team. He left Kiffin the worst QB and OL situations in the SEC. He left zero depth at linebacker and in the secondary.

He pretty much took a sabbatical for two of this team's recruiting classes.

When I watch out team lose because our previous coach decided recruiting a decent OL, kicker, or punter wasn't important, it's tough to let it go.
