needs a lot of work. Giving up 12 first downs with 3 of those coming on penalties and letting them almost move the ball at will through the air in the first half. Now granted, that one QB got hurt and it hurt their offense, but if he would have been healthy there is a strong possibility that we lose last night.

I thought the defense played well after the starting qb got hurt. Who knows what would have happened if he hadn't got knocked out of the game.

I agree they need some work and some refinement. They are definitely not the Defense of Vols past.

Berry just seems to keep improving every game.

what ever happened to the 1st string guy? i just assumed he got hurt. i never did see what happened to him.

moot point. our d put their starting qb out of the game. thats a win. And with the added pressure and the timely awakening to what they were doing (with the rollout pass) he likely would have thrown more int's. seems as if it takes Chavis a quarter or two to catch up to the opposition, except for the UCLA game where he was outcoached at halftime.
