Best defense ve best offense! Excited for this game. A night game in a rocking Neyland gives me hope that Mateer won't go for 500. Hes not been the same since his surgery but hes getting better each week. Oklahoma is likely in the top 5, SEC championship game likely, double bye playoff worthy without his injury. The defense is so nasty. Would love to see Joey put up kentucky numbers again

IDK about getting better. Mateer was 17/31 for 231 and 1TD yesterday

Not to single out your post, but lots of people keep saying OU has the best Defense. Anyone watch the beginning of their game yesterday?

The announcers said “talking with Coach Venables, he said that the defense has yet to be challenged and that they would find out today where they stood” Ole Miss moved the ball pretty good against them. The game really shouldn’t have been as close as it was. Ole Miss D is not much better than ours. If the offense plays as well as it did last night (execute at a high level) I like our chances.

Fair. He didnt look good against a bad Ole Miss defense. I think anyone with a brain realized Mateer returning so soon wasn't smart. He looked like a top NFL draft pick and Heisman winner before he was injured.
