I know right, why be a fan of a kid that busted his ass all year and got better and will be better next year.
I agree with what you said. But competition is good for all. Wanting more quality DBs is not a bad thing. The mess we had this year is what you wind up with when there isn’t enough competition for everyone to improve.

Or enough talent that you trust to put on the field without a significant drop off.
Injuries and bad operation management was Banks undoing.

So this guy was beaten out by a True freshman in Devin Sanchez during the season as the 3rd CB.
Next year Scott would play a lot but would be the 3rd CB.

But if you look at who was ahead of him, it's understandable.

With that said, if Scott comes to Tennessee he will be a first time starter. So it may take him a bit even though he's older. If you get Scott I think you also need to a get an experienced CB from a lower level school. They're in the portal!
