Unless you happen to get the mega buck boosters there threatening to stop bankrolling the university, you can protest until you’re blue in the face...but guess what...won’t do anything.

Sometimes things need to get ugly. Do you want the same people that has been making decisions the past 10yrs to make decisions for the next 10yrs?

Not TOTALLY accurate but I see your point. It made it a lot easier for State Representatives and donors to make that call. The protests gave them something concrete to point to. A politician will suddenly find a backbone if he or she sees sees votes.

Everybody and anybody that contributes to UT as long as Haslam and Currie are there are chasing a BIG ORANGE CRACK ROCK! I love UT but will not step foot into Neyland as long as they have the power.

That works exactly once, and it ONLY worked that one time because the coach in question was tied to Penn State. TN fans have used up their veto for the next decade.

Guys nothing is going to change. I want Currie gone more than anything. However, unless you cut the head off the snake it is pointless. Until Haslam goes to jail and they disassociate from that whole family, NOTHING is going to change. Fire Currie now, and another puppet goes in his place. I hope every other big booster will pull every cent from that place till they distance from that douchebag. We are not the Tennessee Browns!!!! He is treating us like it.

I was all for the protest that got ****ano ousted. However, protesting John Currie is pretty stupid to me. The big boosters really are going to have the final say whether yall protest or not.

Call it off. Now is a bad time for another mass Vol protest. We already have national attention and not on the best of termas. Reinforcing the belief that Tennessee fans are a bunch of clueless hicks who love hurting ourselves, we don't need. Wait until we have a coach. Don't pile dung beetles on the dung just yet. It's bad timing.

The "fire Currie" protest scheduled for tomorrow has been cancelled. Thanks to many of you it will not be necessary.
