28-17 Oregon. Calling it now

what are you on crack?? theres NO WAY in hell we have a shot against Oregon..i expect the score to be like 72-0 or something we might be lucky to score a FG on their D specially if Bray leaves...I dont see Peterson scoring any TD on that team....not happening.....going to be one BAD night for UT fans!!!!

After further review, I changed my mind. We will lose 41-17. I would, however, like to point out that it will be close until half time. Sound about right?

A staff of Vince Lombari, Bear Bryant, Tom Landry, Robert Neyland, Jimmy Johnson, George Halas, Bill Walsh, Buddy Ryan, Hank Stram and Don Shula could not coach the Vols up enough to hang with the Ducks at their place. The point spread on that game will be at least 25 and I'm taking the ducks. It is a horrible matchup for us....we have mass on defense but no speed. And they have the quickest set of playmakers in the NCAA. They will spread us out, run a hundred plays and probably hang about 80 on us.

But if Jon Gruden is our coach, we will win by two touchdowns.

You're a classic, Jackson!!

I'm going to Eugene next year regardless of the outlook....anyone else???

We gonna need as many people there as possible to help root Coach Gruden on!!!

God, that sounds good, doesn't it?!!!

Since all these rumors are floating around id like to here how we would stack up if we had Gruden on the sideline? Dooley?

Id like to think that we have a good shot at beating them if we have Gruden and his 4 million dollar staff. Being we retain some players.

Would love it but even with Gruden we dont have the defense to stop their offense yet unless we get some major Juco help and the players we have now in D all of a sudden learn how to stop someone. I do have confidence Gruden will hire guys that will have us paying better than we should until we get the right players in there. But once we do its going to be fun to watch.

Just hoping we can keep em under 60 pts on us. How unfortunate we've been reduced to nearly rubble & funny thing is I'm still watching them abeit hard to stomach.

R U SRS?

I'm going more like 83-9, Oregon.

This defense has WAAAAAAAY too much ground to make up in a year to just allow 28 to Oregon, when Mizzou and Troy just put up a combined 106 on us.

This post gives me hope. Super's prediction that we score nine points makes me think he has inside information that we're either about to sign a HS kicker who can make 3 FG's in the same game or about to sign a new DC who can coach our players up to scoring a safety against one if the top offenses in the nation!

Edit: Could be one field goal and a missed PAT. That sounds more accurate.

Oregon will be facing the 2nd worst, maybe worst team that the SEC fielded the prior year..it won't be pretty for UT regardless of the coach.

I'm considering it. Depends on how much money I can save by then.
