It was replayed either the next day or a week later on SportSouth last year and it was also sponsored by Dish Network but I watched it on DirecTV. I think Dish is just the sponsor of the game not the only provider that will broadcast it.

I haven't heard if it will be replayed or boradcast Live?

I'm pretty sure the Alabama game which is on the same day is being shown on ESPN. Not sure if ESPN2 will be hosting one, but you would have to think that CSS would be showing one of them.

CSS generally runs quite a few of the games for the SEC teams and others throughout the southeast.

I went googling two weeks ago and could not find any kind of channel listing for the O&W game on Dish Network. Either I just missed it, or they hadn't specified one yet.

Hopefully they are going to televise it. Who knows...Dish may simply be sponsoring it and nothing else :/ Maybe someone better informed than I can tell us the channel.

I agree with you. I am about 100% positive it was on the following day (last year) on SportsSout.

I have Direct TV, but they only have thier programming list up to the 12th as of today, so I dont know if they will carry it or not.

I have heard that CSS wanted to carry it live but the University didn't want to televise it from the East side, due to construction of the pressbox. They are trying to figure out a way to televise it from the traditional west side. The university doesn't want the empty seats shown on television. I guess I understand that.

That is not accurate at all. CSS is not a part of the process.

The Orange and White game will be broadcast by SportSouth, per their contract with the Vol Network. It will not be shown live. The first showing is scheduled to be Sunday, April 19 at 3:30 pm on SportSouth.

In fact, it has never been shown live. CSS twice showed the game on same-day tape, but never live, to encourage fans to actually attend the game.

There will be multiple replays of the game shown on SportSouth the week following the game, exact times have not been set.

Dish Network is the sponsor of the game, but has nothing to do with the TV coverage.

An update/correction, SportSouth has moved the first showing to Sunday the 19th at 8:00 pm. It will be replayed during the week.

Once again, it WILL NOT be shown live.
