This season might be like the movie Necessary Roughness and Tennessee might have to play iron man one platoon football.

This might be a dumb question/thought process, as I’m not sure what official rules are.....but it would be cool to invite in an actual opponent for a Spring game, obviously treat it like a glorified scrimmage, coaches on field, perhaps limit coverage schemes and blitzes, etc. what if you brought in someone like a Sunbelt school?

Or what if you brought in ETSU and Chattanooga? Each team plays one-half against the other, kind of Jamboree style? I know they are playing Spring football so scheduling would have to play out.....but what’s the con to this? Maybe generate some revenue(bonus for the two FCS schools) and also see your guys against some live bodies playing a little different style.
