Post your story from the day.

This was my first O&W game and it was an awesome experience. Got CLK to sign a pennant that will be framed and hung in my office. My 10 year old daughters jersey is covered with autographs. We met several players and Coach O after the game. We are all sunburned but it was worth it. I plan to make this an annual trip. Only down side was that I wasnt able to get Berry's autograph. Cant wait for fall. GO VOLS!!

A group of overweight, hairy-backed guys with their shirts off were sitting next to me. They asked if I would take a picture of them and I gladly obliged. Afterward, they kept offering me a "drink." They also were "for the defense," and routed against the offense throughout.

Good times.

I had a great time. My 8 year old loved every minute of it. He got really excited during the Vol Walk. I thought CPF received a very nice ovation. My "goose bumps" moment came when the the team took the field to start the game. That was great.

Jacques Smith taking me and my cousin to see the locker room after the game and talking to Coach O

Highlight of my year so far.

The Vol Walk was nuts. People went crazy when Monte came through. I have never seen a Vol walk like yesterday in front of Neyland. There was not enough room for everybody in the streets so all the walkways inside Neyland above gate 21 were covered, people were packed on the side of the bank, and that parking garage right there was covered with onlookers on every level. It was dang crazy...

Was my first Orange and White game, as well as my daughter's (she's only 2 years old...lol). It was so funny, because during the Vol walk when everyone was cheering so loudly, she didn't know what was going on. She just clapped her hands and looked excited. I could tell that she was trying to figure out what everyone was cheering for, and then she took a wild guess as she threw her arms in the air and yelled, "YAY EASTER BUNNY!" After laughing uncontrollably for about 2 minutes, I told her to say, "Yay Tennessee!" So she did the rest of the day.:)

Nice.Hopefully that energy is back at full froce again. In 98, I vividly recall my now departed cousin hoisting my then 10 year old up on his shoulders to see the Vol Walk. When you've got Tee Martin,Jamal Lewis,Jeff Hall, etc., headed towards the stadium with an undefeated record and utimately a championship, it's hard to top that.Just a bundle of confidence generated from that group as they neared the stadium.

I agree the vol walk was great. This was my first ever game so id figured that it be worth standing in front for half an hour to see everyone. I wanted Monte to shake/clap my hand but there were so many people there he didn't notice my hand nearly in his face and looked the other direction...

Monte really is something to watch. He seems very energetic for someone who's done stuff like this for most of his lifetime. Now, all we can do is wait for september!
