What is your opinion on the rest of the season?

(A) The team will perform better after Hurd's departure.
(B) The team will perform worse after Hurd's departure.
(C) You will not be able to tell a difference.

This is not a referendum on Hurd, but how you think the team will perform.
Being a Vol fan, l hope they perform better. Something has been wrong from game one. I don't know if it was Hurd or something else, but this doesn't even resemble last year's team in performance or focus. We have 17 returning starters. It has been a difficult team to watch for a complete game without wondering what is going on, and this started before all the injuries.

They should look better given the level of competition.

Whether that actually happens or not will be a referendum of sorts on this staff and the senior leadership.

I would say no real change. Like the TT game, we are a huge favorite. And honestly our backups should be able to play the entire game and win easily. Whats more likely to happen? Vols come out, look uninspired, low energy, mistake prone and just all around bad. Go into halftime being down to basically high school team. Come out, play better and put them away by maybe 10-14 points. All the while our OL gets abused, WRs will drop passes, Dobbs throws at least 1 pick and we lose at least 1 fumble. The DBs will get burned on multiple occasions, the DL will get gashed in the run game, Barnett will have a field day like he always does because he is just straight up beast mode and TT will roll up a great amount of yards on Tenness's defense.

I think we find a way to win out but that says more about opponents than us. Hopefully, the team has some pride. That game Sat was incredibly embarrassing.

Down to 2 DTs on the roster. Dobbs is playing worse than he ever has. Hard to see us winning out. I'll say same

Make no mistake about the fact if we lose the remaining SEC games BUTCH is gone! If Dobbs plays like he has the last two games than go ahead and plan your exit out of knoxville Mr. Jones. The cocks copied the defensive scheme Bama used to beat the brakes off of us. it's with certainty that it will be used with all the remaining opponents and with better athletes. Buckle up volnation this could be an epic collapse. I pray not however! I no longer stand behind our caretaker after last week.

I think its a mistake to think Hurd is the reason why this question needs to be asked about the rest of the season.

UT still has a better roster than everyone else they play no different than with SC last week. That said UK and Vandy can both beat them and it wouldnt surprise me if either or both did. Even with superior talent this team is not coached very well and that closed the gap between the cellar dwellers in the east and UT.

Our fans are a bunch of quitters just like Hurd is. We can win out this season and I have confidence that they can do it. We need to shift our focus to Ttech, UK, and Vanderbilt. Not worry about these issues that's been going on these last few months.

A all day the rest of the way. Betting against the vols the rest of the season is a fools bet. The bad has already past and if you are still dwelling on it you are living in the past. Vols about to show out to make a point. This is the kind of purpose they have been missing in the locker room.

In the last 4 games: Tennessee Tech- win by 24;
Kentucky- toughest game remaining, can't give them 24; Missouri-Vols win by 10; Vandy-Vols win by 10.

The teams needs to play a whole game. Vols will only be up over TTU by 10 at most by halftime. Win against TTU by less than 24 something wrong. I know a win is a win but come on!

Well, we have played crappy football from the start of the season and while I think Jalen presented some problems to program, I don't think he is to blame for all the crappy play. For some reason we have just played poorly and probably were fortunate to have won the first 5 games.

While we have better talent then the 4 teams left on the schedule I believe it is hard to believe we can play well enough to sweep the next four games. It is not far fetched to think that Kentucky could come into Neyland with a chance to win out and go to Atlanta and play for the East. Have a hard time seeing them in Atlanta but it is still possible. Vandy will also be very motivated for us. So we certainly have to play better to win out.

I wouldn't say we lose one of these games but I would not be surprised at all if we did lose more games.

No difference. This team has been one of the least physical teams that I can remember. That isn't going to change cause JH left. Its in the game planing and play calling. Lack of producing your qbs. Lack of a strong S&C program. This team has been getting crushed at the LOS all year vs lesser opponents. Injuries because we aren't physical. Changes need to be made after the season, hopefully to the OL, QB, offense, and S&C coaching. Jones has got to sit back and hire good coaches and let them do their thing. The presser yesterday was the most amateur presser he's done.
