I'm sure plenty of people will fill in the negatives later in this thread, so I will just offer two positive observations.

Peterman is a much better runner than Worley. The difference in speed seemed obvious to me.

Peterman has a stronger arm than Worley. His passes, though not always accurate, had more velocity and were more rope-like.

I think Worley is much farther along than Peterman in being able to think quickly. However, I think Peterman's talent level is higher than Worley's, but who knows how close he will come to maximizing it.

It was a decent performance. It's what he needed. Some playing time that isn't being tossed unto the fire.

If he continues to get some work this season, gain more confidence, and have a solid off season and Spring ... NP has the tools to lead us to a good season next year.
Well, I say that based on our OL doing the same and showing significant improvement. He'll have a lotta experienced weapons at his disposal and has good athleticism.

Yeah man. I do not typically pick sides for what QB I want to start. But dang, Peterman has been thrown to the wolves before tonight. Good confidence builder for him. With the rate that our o-line is regressing each week, I hope Wegzyn is ready to suit up by the time November comes around. I cringe every time Worley gets lit.

He did everything asked of him today. He just needs more game experience.

Would love to see him make the same leap worley did from last year to this year..

We could really use a QB with some experience next year. We will have the tools everywhere else to compete for the east. QB is our only and biggest concern.

Peterman's biggest problem is a lack of confidence. He has been thrown into two tough situations, played terribly in both and was lambasted by fans and the media. I thought he held his own tonight. I hope it was a confidence builder-- it's unlikely that Worley lasts the season with the lack of protection he gets, and Butch seems determined to RS Dobbs. I feel sure we'll see more of Peterman-- a lot more.

Looks a lot like Jeff Driskel minus the game experience to me. I think he can be coached up. He seems to have the physical tools

Better but everybody should look better against UTC. He is a better runner than Worley but that is where his advantages begins and ends. He has an elongated throwing motion where he fully extends his arm backwards before he goes forward with it...like some little league baseball players. I am worried a DL is going to take it out of his hand.

I'm glad he had that confidence building drive.

I saw some potential in Pickett and Scott too. Scott looks really small.

Peterman is awful. The only people that should want to see him playing are his family members.

Lol. This is hilarious but true.....

I went with my son and dad today. We were talking about Peterman on his first series. My dad swiftly said....."this just goes to show you that he needs to be down in this league competing on this lower level" (meaning a smaller division).

That pretty well summed it all up

On the drive that ended with the missed FG, it looked like we were lining up Scott 2 yrds behind Peterman and he was able to get a head of steam going before hitting the line. He actually picked up a few chunks of yardage. It even opened up the Play action on one of the subsequent throws. They went back to the delayed handoff read the next drive but it was good to see its actually in the arsenal. Maybe Ive missed it but that's the first I've seen that. Granted it was against a FCS team in a game that was in hand but still, good to see...

Other than one overthrow, exactly what did he do wrong?
