What a game, and such a bittersweet loss. I bragged on Butch early on for the trick play. I can't give him enough credit tonight. The team fought, scratched, and clawed despite a rowdy crowd, injuries, turnovers, and more than a little home cooking by the refs. I've been more upset at some of our wins this year than I am this loss. Team 120 has heart and guts, in a quantity I haven't seen since some of the late Majors era teams. I'm so proud, and excited for the rest of the season.

One thing is for sure...A&M doesn't want anymore. I can only hope things fall into place for a rematch in Atlanta.

Despite the loss I'm not as upset as I would have against one of our rivals. These guys have heart and quite frankly are champions regardless of the score. They out player them.. But we did keep dropping the ball.. Between that and the refs.. That's why we lost. Nothing more nothing less. A lot of missed penalties on am behalf.

Hopefully we will be back for next week..

Go VOLS🍊

Proud of effort. Proud of team. They deserve praise for never giving up.

Tired of poor discipline. Tired of good players magically making bad plays. It's a shame they aren't put in a better position by the coaches early in the game.

Tired of your nonstop complaining and bellyaching

You're right on all counts....and normally I'd pile on with you, but this team is special. Any other team would have wilted early and been blown out before halftime. This team personifies Neylands Maxims. They never quit, and continuing pouring on more steam. Butch has fixed nearly everything else I've griped about...I have to believe he'll fix the mistakes too.

These mistakes are 6 games deep. That's all I'm saying.

I'd love a rematch.....that would be awesome. And maybe we get a couple of people back.

Eh... you can pick 10 different ways we could have lost this game, I cannot get after Dobbs for the last pass. But what the hell was DeBord thinking... there likely were 3-4 alternate plays that had better %s of working.

Reeves-Maybin and Kirkland would have changed this game dramatically.

I think Cam would have made a bigger difference in this game. Jumper and McDowell bith played extremely well against an offense with a lot of weapons with a lot of speed. Where they hurt UT was on those outside routes and it would have helped to have Cam lock down one side so the safet could focus more on protecting the other side of the field.

This many mistakes this deep in the season is because this is the first game they actually had a cohesive offense along with a wide open playbook. My hope is they work on ball handling and go as wide open next week. When this offense is firing, it is truly a beautiful thing to watch. While I think Hurd is a mainstay on sundays, I think Kamara and Kelley just fit the scheme much better. And I am also in awe at how well the defense is playing despite the fact that are now finding a uniform for Bobby Bouchée to sub in for linebacker. I was a 7 on the negavol scale until the last three weeks. Now I truly believe in this coach. I just hope in future seasons they don't take 3-4 games for the O Line to start firing on all cylinders.

you, my man...are a knucklehead.

the loss to TAMU is squarely on player execution. I don't know why some of you don't get it.

Coaches, coached a good game....6 fumbles and giving the ball to a team like TAMU inside the 30 3-5 times aint gonna cut it.

I thought the ref'n was suspect as well...bs calls on our guys but the dude clearly smacks Berry helmet to helmet and it ain called. TAMU DBs were holding and grabing the whole game.

Not sure what else the coaches could have done. It's a testiment to them and the players it went into overtime.

well....at least twice he coulda fallen on the bal and kept the drive alive. He's Senior, so I do blame him for that.

Bad pass, was a bad pass, but nothing really new.
