Opened my eyes a little bit

We should have seen this effort from the defense coming. Every since last season's Air Force game, when the spin was that the option is tough to defend, we've seen the defense underperform. The LSU game was the worst. All we had to do was make one stop on 3rd and long and we win that game.
...or do something like force and recover a fumble... err...

Maybe we should start holding and blocking in the back when refs aren't looking.

My eyes was opened and I saw a game where a great Cal team handed our butts to us.

No excuses for the lost in my opinion...

I've yet to have seen the supposed block in the back. I did notice your punter tackling someone by pulling on his helmet though. edit: all those mentioned by you guys are blocks in the SIDE, which is not illegal.

They really do look like blocks in the back. If you watch carefully, though, they aren't. I'm actually surprised there wasn't a flag thrown. It would've been a bad call, but I've seen crappier calls made. Anyway, there were about 6 legal blocks that UT should have been able to get around to make the tackle. UT special teams are quite possibly the worst coached unit in the nation. I pretty much expected several big returns in this game, but I thought we'd overcome it with our defense. Boy was that a dumb thought.

I figured Fulmer would have listened to Mark May and everybody else and not punt to DeSean Jackson. But how crazy was I too think something like that, I mean that is one of the main freakin reasons he is a heisman canidate!

I saw alot of dancing and juking. I was despondent enough at that point not to notice if there was illegal blocking. Not that we deserved to get the penalty. We did not appear to understand the ducking and dodging enough to make the the tackle anyway. Kind of like not getting a pass interference call on an uncatchable ball.

When our opponant as over 100 more rushing yards than we do, we're gonna lose every game. This is a disgrace to UT football, imo...

From what I've heard Cal should have gotten an unsportsmanlike penalty after the fumble return. Supposedly, one of the players ran to the end zone and screamed "F___ YOU! F___ YOU! F___ YOU!" to the Tennessee section before running back to the sideline.

I heard that the culprit was Tedford.
