Do any of you know of any open source AutoCad readers that may be available to download? It would really help me out on the days when I leave my computer at work. I'm too cheap to pay for AutoCad.

P.S. I already tried GOOGLE...

I just need a program that can read Autocad drawings. I don't feel like bringing all of these prints home and prefer to leave my main set of prints on the job site. If questions come up in the field and I happen to be away from my work computer, I would like to be able to simply read a digital copy of that print from home.

So... what are you looking for? The link I gave is a DWG viewer specifically for Autocad. I'm not sure what your looking for if that isnt it.

Let me know if you need the actual program. I might be able to get it through NPS (for free) although it would be the student version.

Oh, that link worked. Thanks. I just would have never thought that AutoDesk would actually offer a free viewer for AutoCad. I just assumed I would have to go the open-source route and hope for a bootleg.

:good!:
