Some are worried about starting over with a new coach. Where do you see the Vols under Dooley in the next 2 or 3 seasons?

Honestly I see Tennessee Just barely Below Vandy and about even with Kentucky. Dooley can't sale UT football any more to recruits because he can't win. Recruiting is god awful!

The next recruiting class will tell a lot. If he can craft a message that works for recruits after this year then he has a chance to keep improving the team. If not then it's just putting off the inevitable. Poor records don't kill a program (i.e. Zook, Shula), poor recruiting does.

That has been the problem. Dools has been trying to "sale" UT football. Damn Derek. Get with it. You need a better salesperson.

We are there now bro, 10th in SEC behind Vandy
True, it amazes me how many Dooley fans we have that put him above the University and what is best for it! I must be blind, I can not see one half way decent reason to think this team will improve under Dooley . He has never out coached anyone.

Please realize that I'm not bashing our BO football team... not by any means. However, in answer to your question:

2013 - losing season

2014 - losing season

2015 - losing season (unless we go to the Southern Conference)

2016 - losing season (unless we are in the Southern Conference)

Dooley and all assistants, besides Graham and Pittman, need to be ran out of Tennessee on a rail - after being tarred and feathered.

GBO!

Well...what if Tennessee goes 8 and 5? I know it's a stretch...lol. But what if? I think he would need to go 9 and 3 the next and compete for the SEC the next.

Here's my problem:

Offensively, I know Tennessee is getting huge numbers but does everybody feel real comfortable with Chaney calling the shots. I mean without some huge play makers Chaney is not that good in my opinion. Especially play calling.

Defensively : Train Wreck. It's gotta be coaching. You can't tell me our players are that bad. Hell, we should've promoted lance Thompson to DC not to mention he's one of the best recruiters in the nation.

With Dooley, every year is starting over. I don't see the difference.

Got banned on GVX so you come here to post your subtle barbs. Pathetic loser. :neener: :nono:

1. I did not get banned.

2. You made my point for me.

I provided the only optimisitc answer in this thread, which you indicated is a "barb"

That should tell everyone all they need to know about dooley.
