O.K., I’m goin to do this once and then move on in life. I’m still fuming over the officiating last night. They cost us that game. You can go on about the O line if you want to. You can go on about bajakian if you want to, about worley if you want to, about the running game if you want to. Truth is we could have and should have won that game. You guys are simply looking for someone or something to blame. That’s all…just looking for something to place the blame on. Our Oline was outstanding! You are talking about high school kids that got plucked off the high school field and thrown into the game against what is probably the nations best D. They were OUTSTANDING…I think ONE penalty all night. We knew it would be a miss match from the start. Truth is they learned fast. They got the job done jusssst enough to get us in a rhythm once in a while and they did jusssst enough to give us a chance. What more did you want? Bajakian doesn’t get it? OOOOOOO.KKKKKKKKK. You guys were the same ones calling for Jancek before the season. Look at what he’s working with. The guy has an outstanding resume. All I hear on the radio is praise for bajakian when the games are being played. Truth is, a lot of you guys are out of touch with today’s game. It’s a different game guys. Don’t go acting like you know better and if we had a running QB everything would be better. That’s not what todays game is. It’s a very complicated variety of scheming that's designed to wear your opponent down over time. Not only is it possible for a young undersized team to go up against a bigger team and kick their butt, it happens all the time. It’s very likely with todays scheming…you don’t get it? exactly….you don’t get it. So back the hell off and let these guys do their job.

We should have won that game last night…the officiating gave it to Ok because it was better for them, it was better for EasSPN, and it was better for the first NCAA playoffs. We were a couple of plays away from tying that game up, we could have done it with a few good calls and everyone knows it. So drop it…move on. With the kind of experience we are giving these young men and the kind of young men they are, and the coaching we have…we are going to win a couple we shouldn’t…someone is going down…this year.

Oh yeah, and Worley has run for downs in games, he’s done it very effectively, but the guy had been hit enough right? He is probably concussed, and probably should rest a few games, but are YOU going to take the ball out of that man’s hands and tell him that’s how his college career will end? NOPE, and I won’t either. So get it together. Straiten out your panties and calm the hell down.

We are a better team...imagine that game with our starting wideout, starting TE, and starting guard...then add correct officiating on that....we win.

You say we are looking for someone or something to blame and then you blame the refs. Wth, we got beat by a better team.

Im proud of the team. We were about 3 plays from making it a game. Stoops wanted to hang 60 on us and couldnt.

On to georgia.

I agree, we are just an offensive line away from beating some good teams. I really hope they grow up fast this year.

The officiating hurt us some, but come on, we lost because we couldn't keep their defense out of our backfield. We lost because they were the much better team, simple as that. We will get there, but we are no match for a top 5 team.

here we go again..that old school thinking. The point is they did ENOUGH. They did ENOUGH to gives what we need to win that game.

The Vols lost by 24 and you're blaming it on officiating?
Score 13-7. Oklahoma fumbles. Big 12 replay crew would never overturn and did not. Take 7 points off Okies' score. 3rd and 2 inside the 5. Worley throws interception returned for touchdown. Add 7 to Okies' score and subtract 7 from Tennessee. Net +7 for Tennessee. Score 14-13. Does the rest of the game play differently? That's just how close we really were.

Got beat by a better team. We are 2-1. Right where we thought we would be at this point.

He is talking about that fumble close to the half. Oklahoma was up 13-7 and fumbled it and the refs gave it back to the Sooners. It was a fumble. So instead of 13-7 at half it went to 20-7. Then you look Worley threw 2 ints in the end zone. One was ran back 99 or 100 yards. These guys did not give up like they use to for Dooley. We will pull some upsets this year. Give these coaches some time.

You guys aren't even gonna mention that we were HELD all night long and that there were numerous PASSINTERFERANCE non calls.

A few bad calls especially the fumble before the half but OU was man handling us on the Oline. Worley is improved but needed to have been quicker on the release to have been effective at all.

The edges right behind the line on the left and right were open all night. If we had wolfe...and pearson, and our starting guard to add some depth....well there you go. We would have won that game.

Well as the saying goes, "That's football." We've all had plenty of games go either way because of questionable calls. Good teams (not to say the Vols aren't) don't let games get decided by the officials.

"the officiating gave it to Ok because it was better for them, it was better for EasSPN, and it was better for the first NCAA playoffs."

So your saying that the officoails huddled around each other and decided that they need to let oklahoma win this thing. (Kinda like the commercial that comes on when the people in the bar dont want the game to end and so some bartender grabs a bud light spout and changes the outcome of the game.) Sounds good to me , I'm in.

Dude offication was bad, We all seen it, Chill its a game and we are in the middle of growing pains. It all good g.:clapping:

Coulda, woulda, shoulda,.........but it did't

What is BS...is that there is no consistency in Ref calling week to week. Some games they call a whole lot of this....some games they see a whole lot of that.
Holding is called 3 times in a game where holding was clear 4 times. Next game...Holding is never called and it is done 30 times by both teams. There is absolutely no standard. The whole "didn't see it" sh*t wears thin, when its right in front of the refs every game. Come on
There needs to be a consistent standard.

I thought I might have seen a few holds but the Vols probably need to fight a little harder to shed those....

There does need to be some consistency on what is taunting and what is not....Some of the sack dances were taunts....
