Dooley wins 8 + games and is still UTs coach. All the talk about him being fired has stopped. Everyone is on board and he lands yet another top 10/15 recruiting class. Where do we go from here????? (jump in your time machine to this day one year from now). It has been so negative for the last couple of days on here.

Bray announced he would be back for his senior year, we are in on several top 5 recruits and Hunters heisman campaign just kicked off...

Won't matter because Wilcox will be leaving and taking Sirmon and the entire recruiting class. We will be speculating on Bray and Rodgers marijuana use before the bowl game. Drunk Johnny (previously Muschump presumably) will be posting under the name Hammered Billy.

We go 8-4, Bray, Hunter and Rogers, all go pro and we are back to 6-6 hearing that we are young, inexperienced, blah blah.

or

they all stay and we go 7-5 the next year wondering what the hell happened.

or

They all stay and we go 11-1 with Bray as a senior and we all realize DD is our man.

I'll play.....after an 8-4 season next year and a bowl win, DD lands a top 5 class. But the real story comes in 2013, with a wealth of senior leadership, the Vols go 11-1 and follow that up with a NC win over USC.

DD signs a 5 year mega deal, and retains Wilcox to continue with his defensive genius.

Everyone returns to make a run at a NC. Beat LSU in SECCG, get to NC and beat (insert whomever you want). Start 2014 #1 and with the talent we have stocked up, our return to greatness has returned.

And to top it off, all Negavols lose fingers and can no longer access this site!!!!!

8-4 may secure year 4 but the calls for his head wont die down unless we do something totally unexpected like 10-2 or 11-1.

Even then there will be those calling it a fluke. Shula had a 10-2 season at bama after all.

I tell you right now. Bray is not ready for the NFL even after next year. You have to win road games. Even if he has a good year he needs 2 more years.

Well if your hypothetical (and I say this only because it hasn't happened yet) season comes to fruition, then one year from now we will be going to a bowl. You can also call yourself clairvoyant.

One year from now we will be talking about how we only had Hunter for one full year, how we are still depleted at DT, and that Dooley hasn't yet landed any 5 stars....

If we win 8 games next year my confidence in Dooley will still be low. Our schedule is easy. 9 or 10 and ill change my tone. Hopefully that will happen.
