Jeremy Pruitt was introduced as the head coach at Tennessee. I think most of us are willing to give him time to get the program turned around. The coaching search was painful, and at times, humiliating for Vol fans. I NEVER wish to go through that fiasco again.

I'm just over here like "Dear goodness, hire a OC."

I hate having a coaching vacancy. One less person recruiting/helping our guy get better. Not that we need to get the wrong guy. Just like having a staff that's intact.

Just for context:

Auburn, UGA and Alabama all have open coordinator positions at the moment.

Just for context, those positions don’t have the potential to make much of a positive or negative impact on their recruiting classes.

Tennessee’s does.

Considering our first choices are off the board and we’re competing with a ever increasing number of contenders for the remainder of the top talent, it isn’t “dumb”. The search is another fiasco at this point. Decisive leadership wins.
It’s dumb because some of us act like if we offer people are going to jump on the job. People take time to make big decisions like this for their family.

As a long time Vol fan, it's so difficult to realize how far the Vols have fallen, these are definitely uncharted waters for Tennessee football.
I am really praying that Pruitt can turn things around.
Go Vols

Just part of big time football. I always look at it as an opportunity to upgrade.

Ahhh, not really..... Pruitt is ensuring these kids of what his plans are and what's going on. People are making a bigger deal out of that then it actually is.

December 7th a day that will "Live in infamy" at Tennessee: (Pearl Harbor 1941 and hiring of Butch Jones 2012).

A day that will live in infamy for our opponents too (hiring of Coach Jeremy Pruitt 2017).

He will beat your bulldogs uncle Lou. Just a matter of time. Pruitt will beat Smart in due time.
What are you talking about. I’ve been a Vols fan for over 35 years. I’m tired of the ineptitude, but I’m UGA fan.
