We'll see what happens when we get there.i think at the end of the season, if there is an SEC champ with one loss, it might be hard not to put them in the NT game...especially if it's an Aub, FL, TN, LSU team that's played a really good schedule...of course a lot has to do with what other teams do obviously...and when you lose is more important than who you lose to...
imagine LSU or Auburn being undefeated going in to the SEC CG, and losing to a two loss UF, TN or UGA team....
don't forget about ND either....if both ND and USC are undefeated when they play (and i don't think they will be, but it still applies if both have one loss) the winner will likely have the inside track to Glendale. We'll see what happens when we get there.
I'd imagine USC vs. Ohio State is the conventional pick for the national championship game, though.
I still think with both of our schedules, if either team loses by one or two, and lose no more, especially if they wind up in SEC Championship game, a National Title is not too far fetched. No?
Ohio State will make it with one loss, and I think that one loss might be Michigan.....maybe the most they would finish with would be 2 and that other loss would come against Penn State......Texas will lose to Oklahoma, mark it down and that'll knock them out of National Championship contender....Louisville will get their first loss of the season this weekend against Miami and I'd say they'd lose one more game...They could possibly upset West Virginia but without Bush that'll be hard....I don't see Oregon finishing with just 1 loss...USC could but then again they could get 2...Someone could upset them....that's just a crazy scenario that I see could possibly work out, and the chances of that are slim to none......But I don't think it'd be too far fetched for UT to be left out of the National Championship game if they ran the table or lose this weekendUnfortunately, I think it is pretty far fetched for us. We started the season ranked too low. Also, I think it's pretty likely there will be a lot of other teams that finish with one loss. Ohio State will probably have one loss at worst. Texas could likely win out, finishing with only one loss. Then there's West Virginia and Louisville, both of whom were ranked ahead of us. USC and Oregon both have a good shot at finishing with 1 loss at worst. All those teams would probably get the edge over UT. I don't agree with it, but that's the way I think it would be.
I don't see them losing to Michigan either, but that would be the one team other than Penn state that's left on their schedule that I can see them losing to
