He was but only for a year. Their DC went to washington with Sarkisian.

I think it's going to be Sal Sunseri. The only other reason we are waiting is if it were Travis Jones. But I'd say Sal Sunseri is a more likely option.

I did not know Sexton was Withers agent.

We have to go ahead and show "interest" in whatever the size of Sexton's defensive coaches portfolio is before we can conclude our search.

According to Heather Dinch at ESPN, Withers only had initial talks with Tennessee, and it wasn't clear when those were. It could be that Dooley has found someone (like Sunseri and is waiting until after NSD), so Withers could be informed of this and be able to say he's staying and Rex Ryan could be correct in saying that Chuck Smith will be coaching at Tennessee - since a DC is already lined up and that arrangement has been made.
