Hey guys, I have been on here reading things for along time and I thought it was time for me to throw some my thoughts and opinions out there! First thing I will give you some back ground, I am an advid UT fan and Have loved the orange for all my life. I attended my first UT game on Sept 9 1995 against Georgia and Jeff hall kicked the game winning field goal at the end to win and the passion I had always had for the orange multipled times infinity and since that warm night I have had the orange on my mind on a daily basis. In saying that, i would like to thank Coach Fulmer for that memory and many more that I have had with this team since then! Coach Fulmer has been a wonderful ambassador for not only the University, but the SEC, the state of Tennessee and the landscape of College Football. For someone my age(26) this is a very bittersweet time because pretty much since I can remember watching football, Phil Fulmer has been the man and change is a very scary thing. I have been behind Coach Fulmer for many years and I was on the one defending him after the 2005 season, but it became very clear last season and this season that the game has passed him by. It also became apparent that the only reason that he was able to hang on this long was Coach Cut with the reason being that UT is 8-13 in the last 2 season that Coach Cut wasnt there and missed bowl games both seasons. There is not a doubt in my mind that Coach Fulmer is a wonderful human being and you have to look no further than the contribution he has made to the jasonfoundation to see that. He has always been accessible to his players, coaches, and the university. I have seen before that I thought Coach Fulmer contributed to his demise with all the success he has had here at UT and has set the bar very high for our next HC. So Coach Fulmer thank you so much for all the memories and thanks for giving us UT fans a season in 1998 season that we could only dream about, you are a legend at the University of Tennessee.

Now looking forward, whoever ends up with this job has some major shoes to fill. However us UT fans maybe a little spoiled by all the success we have had but most of us are realist and know that a new coach wont turn this thing around immediately and will give the new guy a couple years to get this program headed back toward the top of the SEC. Now for the haters that keep saying that UT is not an elite coaching job, I have one question? What planet was you born on? UT has a winning tradition, some of the top facilities in the country, by far the greatest fans in the country, and the money to spend to bring in a top notch coach. I really like some the names I have heard, but it is my belief that this program needs a young energetic coach that can recruit from coast to coast but i believe more than anything we need a coach with a cockiness, almost an arrogance about him that expects to not only win but dominate every play, every drive, every quarter of every game, every season. Thats the thing I remember about the 90s, when the team took the field, it wasnt a question of "IF" we would win, it was a question of by how much are we going to win by? This team over the past few seasons looked more like they were going through the motions with no emotion. We need someone who will put some fire and passion back into the program.

I know this is long but thanks for reading, I hope it was worth your time and feel free to comment back or just shoot some questions!

I have my wish list and it is as follows

My number one guy is obvious: Jon Gruden-I have been a Gruden fan for years and would love to see 100,000 chucky in Neyland stadium. Gruden is prolly unlikely but still my number choice. he combines fire, passion, intensity and cockiness that the program needs and his name alone will bring recruits until he gets his feet wet

Next would be Mike Leach- he has just moved up my list recently. this guy is a no non-sense type coach who could care less what people think of him(Alot like pearl). Plus the guys offense has scored no less than 37 points in a game this season, that includes hanging 95 points the past 2 weeks on 2 of the top 6 teams in the country

Then I have Kiffin and Muschamp right together- though kiffin is not proven, he has proven he can recruit and to what some may think, I think he had the Raiders going in the right direction and I really like his passion for the game. Muschamp has been a winner everywhere he has coach with the exception of being on the "wanna be NFL coach saban" staff in 2005! Muschamp just knows how to win!

I have got an extened list I will throw up with a few twist here in a little bit!

Throw up with a twist... I like it!

Brian Kelly is my darkhorse, although I like most of the names I'm hearing quite a bit. Except Kiffen... nowhere near enough experience, IMHO.

Hey no, obviously you are unintelligent if you think Okie State is in the top ten. i think this way because hatvol tells me to

Alright a few more common names I like are Chris Peterson, Brian Kelly, Lovie Smith, and Butch davis!

But how about:

Dan Mullen-OC at florida who knows the spread as much as anyone and with Tajh Boyd coming to UT it sounds like a good match. Stan drayton prolly stays if Mullen comes also

Greg davis-OC at texas who is known for developing some good offensive talent

Jeremy Bates-Denver bronco QB coach and former vols QB. I like this guy more as OC than HC right now

Charlie Strong-DC at florida who has all kinds of expierence in the SEC. And is overdue for a shot at HC

Steve Sarkisian-OC at USC. He is a winner who played under Chow and is very youthful at 34 Years old

Josh McDaniel-NE Patriots OC. Again someone else that knows how to win and the guy is a rising Asst coach. Again another youthful coach

I also wouldnt mind seeing Trooper taylor return as OC and lets bring Joe Kines back to the SEC as a DC where he wants to be anyway!
