I am as frustrated as anyone about alot of things tonight, but looking at the whole picture it seems we at least have one coach that can make half time adjustments. Shoops D was getting whipped out there in the first half and looks like Shoop made the necessary adjustments at the half to not let them score again. Now if we can just get CMD to get his head out of his rear and be aggressive we will be good. Maybe he needs to show up 4 hours early to the rest of the games this year. Hopefully our boys learn from this and get better!!! GBO!!

They didn't give up a point the last 38 minutes of game play. I don't care who you're playing, that's impressive. App State executed a great game plan to milk the clock and have a lot of quick throws and screens. I think it will be fun to watch these guys pin their ears back. They will come out with a chip on their shoulder against VT, I guarantee it.

One bright spot was hurds absolute nasty stiff arm and our kicking game looks spot on so far. Defense played a heck of a game too

Glad someone pointed this out. Very impressed with the lock down D most of the 2nd 1/2 and OT. Thank God for Medely too and our new holder.

Now over on the offense :-o

Won the game in the 4th quarter when last year we all know what happened in the 4th. Maybe it's a good thing the boys got tested right out the gate. All that matters is they pulled it out. I fully expect a different team the next time we see them.

would like to point out a couple of things here for the offence did any one watch how hurd was running in the first half like he wasn't running hard then when the game was on the line he started running harder and making more yards they only threw the ball down field once and connected so I think the offence will be fine holding back almost caught us sleeping.

Like I've heard several times on here, I think we came out thinking we were hot crap and that cost us a lot. We didn't respect the team we were playing.

The team we played will win a lot of games this year. They are no cupcake. Well coached and tough. Respect given!
