I cannot imagine whom either. DD must have anticipated this move. Last week, everyone on this board was calling for CLT to either be promoted to DC or at least be given a hugh raise. Where has all the sentiment gone? Maybe CDD wants CSS to have free reigns in hiring a new LB coach?

So CDD felt he needed to go out and hire a DC. Saban then hires CLT to replace the guy CDD hired. I sure hope CLT had already told CDD he was wanting out or this looks bad for us. CLT can't be the DC here, but he can at Bama. WOW!

He's not being hired to be the DC at Bama.
