From a fan point of view this staff seems to hit the road more then the previous staff. I was wondering if there has been a significant difference from an "insider" point of view.
Scout shows the players every coach is recruiting. CSS,CJP and CSP have not had many commits. Do they usually have more commit closer to February or are they just in on some bigger names that choose to wait it out?

Winning will help.

Recruiting is also about relationships. The '13 kids have often been recruited by someone on DD's staff since he took over or shortly after. It takes time to build a recruiting program with momentum.

Pay little attention to the recruiter assigned by the web sites. Every kid will have multiple recruiters that will include his position coach and his coordinator. The "recruiter" may be nothing more than the guy responsible for making routine contact.

Man. What a vicious cycle this can be!

Winning games leads to getting the best recruits.

Getting the best recruits leads to winning games.

God, I'm ready for this season.
