Called me last night and asked if I heard about CSS interviewing , I said yes and he said he hopes he don't come to UT cause he's not only dOne an outstanding job there but he's a great recruiter. Anyways just telling ya what I heard, go vols

I feel your pain...I have a sister-in-law who's a Bammer fan....needless to say, I don't enjoy her company.

Hopefully we'll get SS, but who knows....

I live in the middle of this Bama Hell. All the bama fans hate the fact we got Hart and Now they are getting really pissed we are coming after one of their coaches.

I really wanted Shannon but after hearing how bad the bammers dont want this guy to leave and he was the national recruiter of the year in 2011, I welcome him if he gets the job.

Your a smart man Charlie Brown. I married a Ohio State Buckeye and now she is all Vols. Our 3 kids included. Well she does dot the eye ever so often. Go Vols....

Bama just won their second NC in 3 years and have what many consider the best head coach in football and they are mad about us possibly taking a DL coach and an assistant AD. That would have been the last thing on my mind.

The latest rumor is DD wasn't impressed with SS during the face to face and an offer wasn't extended. I think it may very well be true.

He may have been but something didn't go well in the face to face is the rumor. It could be DD realized he was getting played for a raise, or something DD didn't like about SS. IDK

Have no clue, you said rumor, not where it was from but a lot of the rumors here are posted from TOS. Who would have thought the hiring of a new DC would be worse than the Kiffin fiasco?!

I was just curious if it was over on TOS. I got it by word of mouth but I don't expect to be the only one told.

At this point, I don't care where the guy comes from...if the guy can coach with the rest of the SEC, recruit with the SEC, and win against the SEC...that's all I care about.

....unfortunately we're not really going to know any of those until September at the soonest and considering the current names being associated with the position; we're not going to win in the court of public opinion.

I'm damn near apathetic at this point. :unsure:
