I've seen a good deal of UT fans on this board reject the posts made by fans of opposing schools simply congratulating us on our season. Some of you out there see it as an insult... get over it, it's not. We played well at the end of the season and if a Va.Tech or Oregon fan wants to come on here and congratulate us then I say good, it speaks volumes about the majority of our fans and our program that fans from other schools come back to show us some love. If you feel like we are be slighted then just ignore it, we don't need to act like spoiled brats when it comes to football. Fans of other schools who would like to participate in civil discussions are welcome here, not just by me but I believe the majority of posters on this site. Besides I'll be the first to give credit where credit is due, even if I hate the school and their fans. So let's stay classy Vol Nation, we expect our team to handle themselves with class and dignity on and off the field and I think it is high time we start holding ourselves to a higher standard as well. IMO :twocents:

Sorry, but I'm going to continue to hate on Virginia Tech, Bama, Florida, etc.

Better here than me walking up to them and yelling in their face and getting arrested. It's a damn message board.

I understand hating Florida and Alabama, but why Virginia Tech or Oregon? It's not like they're our rivals or anything like that.

Class is a 2 way street. If rival fans want to cruise our boards and put there 2 cents in thats fine. When they take shots they should expect to be blasted. I for one owe no civility to anyone who makes negative comments about my University and it's programs.

I thought all the ducks that were on this site were pretty cool.. I was at the game and the duck fans were a hell of alot more nice than everyone else..

Well, not really the team. His insults were more directed at UT fans. And more so the Tennessee natives. He's been fairly positive about the program.

me and him got into it before the oregon game over his dismal comments to our facilities and our coaches abilities

I'd say about half are ok to deal with. Other half, not so much.

Doesn't surprise me at all. He got into it with many people around that time. He had a very easy time picking Oregon over UT, it seems.

I don't hate the fans, I hate the individuals who talk smack on here. If a Florida fan wants to come on here and congratulate our team, more power to them, they got my respect. If they want to come on here and cuss us out well that's another matter.
