I thought Tennessee's D was the strong suit.

We are not bad, but its our O against their D. They probably have the second best qb in the sec, maybe the best passer. Not an ole miss fan, just my observations.

LSU...I would say that their absolute beating of Georgia Tech was more impressive than the Cotton Bowl. And then they add the #2 recruiting class in the nation. #2 QB, #1 WR, etc...

In the second half the of season Ole Miss was as impressive as any team in the country excluding Florida, who they beat, Oklahoma and USC. I think that The Vols will win but it will be a very tough game.

Peria Jerry and Michael Oher leaving will hurt a lot more then people realize. Should still be a good team but I think they are a little over hyped.

I think your chances of beating Alabama are better than your chances of beating Ole Miss.

As others have noted, Ole Miss will be potent both on O & D. Second-best QB in the league. But it's the schedule itself that bothers me most. I hate hate hate the fact that we catch y'all on the 8th week of an 8-week run with no breaks. OTOH, y'all have an open date prior to the Bama game. This bothers me.

Unless something has changed since February, Ole Miss has an open date prior to the Tenn game. Tenn, OTOH, will be on their 4th game following their open date. I expect a rejuvenated Ole Miss on their home turf to be more than the Vols can handle.

The QB position makes all the difference here, if Bama was returning their starter, I would have a different opinion. JPW was not great by any means, but he knew what was expected of him. The next QB will be better in time than JPW, but it will take some time.

Not much of a believer. Ole Miss always has 1-3 tops good seasons and then falls back to where they belong. Nutt won off of Ed's recruits. We'll just have to see.
