What is his status for the game? I thought I saw he got a concussion Saturday.

It wouldn't matter if Masoli couldn't remember his name, Nutt would play him. He needs this win maybe more than we do when taking into account the circumstances as a whole.

I'm sure he'll play either way too. At the very least, we need to make him as uncomfortable back there as possible and hit him every time he drops back to pass.

Let Malik and Montori hit him a few times even if we get a penalty and get him out of there!

I hope he isn't full speed because qbs with any type of running ability have killed us this year. We barely have the speed to account for the normal rbs and recievers, let alone a qb that can move too.

His status for Saturday is still up in the air.

Basically if he can practice today then he'll play Saturday. If not then its doubtful.

Something tells me there will be some blitz drawn up for Herman Lathers. If he hits Masoli like he did McElroy as he took out Ingram in the process, Masoli could have concussion#2.

Nutt would push him out on the field in a wheel-chair if he thought it gave him the best chance of winning

In Nutt's presser he said they will test him every day.... and that's all he could offer... but he did not practice the last 2 days...

I hope hes out for Saturday. TN needs this win, regardless of how it gets it.

I have heard from several Ole Miss fans that the back up QB is a better all around QB. Not as atheletic as Masolli but a better passer.

They say Masolli was a name to help get Ole Piss's name in the media.

this is something i would actually believe.

how many times have we been burned by a backup QB before? ...

Nutt thought that Masoli would be his Cam Newton. He just didn't realize how awful his defense would turn out to be.

I don't go for hoping a star player is out. Let's beat the best team they can field. Also, I don't want the kid getting another concussion in our game.

I feel certain he will play. Moore played the week after his concussion.

Only way we could be sure that he won't get another one in our game is if he's out, of course. :)

Jokes aside, it just depends on how bad his particular concussion is/was. I'm not sure D-Mo missed any practice, seemed pretty clear right after, and he was for sure ready to play against USC. If Masoli isn't testing good by tomorrow, I hope he doesn't play for his own sake, nevermind ours.

But I won't deny that I hope it for our sake, too. I'm not too proud to beat them when they're a man down - we need that bowl game and the practices. Odds are that he's better off personally if he doesn't play and regardless, we're not full strength either.

All that said, I'll bet anything that he plays.

I'd love for someone to knock him out if he's still feeling woozy.

Too bad Ole Miss has given up the least amount of sacks in the SEC this year.
