It’s crazy how some of these adrenaline junkies die. This dude can skydive from the stratosphere but be killed in a paragliding incident. The great Steve Irwin can handle venomous snakes and crocodiles all day but gets killed by a stingray. I guess they can say they died doing what they loved.

Someone said in a different thread that he apparently suffered a medical emergency during the incident.
Oh I didn’t see that. Guy was in his mid-50s. The heart can only take so much once you start getting older. At least I can only assume it might have been a heart condition. I haven’t looked into the story, just saw the news of the incident pop up.

Steve Irwin died in 2006. I still miss seeing him. He'd be holding a venomous snake
up close to his face while talking about it in the camera. Crazy.

Experts are warning Mount Rainier in Wash St is rumbling a lot. In just the last 24 hours
the volcano has experienced more then 250 minor quakes & is on alert.

According to the Geological society, it’s hot water moving through already formed faults and not magma moving into the volcano, creating new faults.
The quakes are all happening at the same depths too.

Hopefully it’s nothing major.

Good. I can sleep better now hearing that.

Yeah he was on our television religiously. Always loved his enthusiasm for animals. One of kind. I’m glad his son grew up with just as big of a heart for animals. Anytime I see a video of Robert Irwin I always see a little bit of his dad in him.

I remember seeing a show where he was out in the hot Arizona desert w/his famous shorts on looking for rattlesnakes & spiders (tarantulas) living in holes & cracks of the rocks ....
with only his bare hands. He grab those things & hold them while giving you a lesson on how they live & blah blah. Freaky as heck. I wish the Discovery Channel would show some of his old shows. Maybe on youtube but I've not looked.
