Picture aside, we had a TV very similar to that. Even had a remote......me. Dad would tell me what channel to turn to....not that we had that many to choose from.

Yup! And had to purchase a special VHF antennae to pick up a fourth channel.

Of course, back then, no one had a gay channel.

On my way home from Kroger, I stopped at Arby's & got another one of
them thar dog vomit cheese steak sandwiches. Got another senior discount
price too from $11.28 to $10.15 bc of the small fry I got w/it.

Believe me--there are worse things for your brain than having missed "the vast wasteland" that was TV in the early '60s!
(To generate that level of mental damage today, you'd probably have to watch a full hour of TikTok.)
