Whenever we have freshmen come in like Drew Beam and Chase Burns, the standard has risen for freshman for me. People will point to Chase Dollander having near identical ERA his freshman year and he could very well turn out to be an elite guy but I’m just going to keep my brakes pumped on him until I see him vs SEC competition on a weekly basis.

I said Game 3 scenarios were practically a lock to be a loss all season long. Couldn’t trust any of the pitchers in those scenarios and honestly couldn’t trust Game 2 pitchers for the majority of the season either. Outside of Liam Doyle nobody was that impressive. Worst pitching staff we’ve had probably since 2018.
