Honestly I wouldn’t be opposed to them using wooden bats all the time. Aluminum bats make the ball fly but nothing beats the crack of a perfectly barreled wooden bat. There are a couple of guys in the majors you can do a blindfold test and know who hit the ball just by the sound of the bat.
@txbo once said there aren't enough quality wood bats made to use in the college game. IDK.

This Kansas/Gonzaga game is the perfect example of how officiating can dictate a game.
I’m not saying the officiating is bad or one sided, just that I wish Tennessee was allowed to play Dickinson, they way Gonzaga is being allowed to play him today.
Purdoo's entire season has pretty nearly been based on officiating bias, afaik

Bologna! Y’all were best friends and he had access to your bank account. Why would he lie about you trying to pay off his debt after he had already openly admitted to gambling? Makes no sense whatsoever. Take some responsibility Shohei!
There are only 2 outcomes in this situation, that will satisfy me as a fan of MLB...

1. Suspend Shohei for the entire year, maybe longer and hold an emergency election ceremony to enshrine Pete Rose in the HOF, immediately.

2. Force Ohtani to Atlanta to play for the Braves, on a league minimum contract.

Jeff Passan a MLB insider stated this morning that he had discussion and was told Interpreter can have access to players money. They trust these guys because they know no English. Ohtani denied gambling and seemed adamant about being used by his friend.

Only thing I know in America you're innocent until proven guilty.

If it comes out he gambled then ban his @$$ but if not carry on in life 🧐

I doubt that the interpreter had access to that much money. The bookie is saying that Ohtani was his client. Not the interpreter. That makes far more sense. Why would the bookie extend that much credit to an interpreter making $200K?
