The Braves debuted on TBS in 1973. Gotta think there are plenty of memorable debuts in there…

Good ole TBS. They had a guy on there that would come out behind a curtain & sit at a table and do jokes. He was there for years getting the station up & running. About that time around here, TBS was so popular with everyone that if you got cable it had to come w/the TBS Superstation. Ted Turner was a genius back then by putting the Braves games on cable.
Then he went out on a big money limb & created CNN .... the first cable 24/7 news station available & changed how the news was broadcast using cable technology.
