Any chance that they play Moore at center and move Pendleton to center?
Ah, the old double Center offense. Smart. Defense doesn't know who's going to snap it. ;)

I'm being as smartass. I know what you meant (sometimes my fingers don't follow my brain, either). I think there's a chance of Moore at C and Pendleton at G. Maybe Pendleton can call protections from Guard?

Not sure if Moe is out. I was thinking why not start this from left to right. Sanders LT, Pendleton LG, Moore C, Perry RG, Osenda or Williams RT. My thinking is keep Sam Pendleton in there to make sure Moore is doing the right things, then Haslem can come in at times.
Need the best 5 and this might be it.

There are no games left on the schedule that Sham should play in -absent a 4 touchdown lead.
This! Sham is horrible. Move Perry inside and make Ory Williams earn that right tackle money. I’m even down with moving Pendleton to OG (his original position at ND) and taking a shot with Nic Moore at center. Haslam can be on the back burner in case Pendleton struggles

Yes, seems like, of O.Williams, Heard, and Osenda, at least one of em could get in there and play some RT for us.

Yes 🙃 I meant Pendleton to guard. I suppose it’s not easy to swap out your center.

I guess if Moore was ready they would already be doing that . . .

I’m not - thus far - impressed with Pendleton at center (going back to last year).

From some of the things reported by Austin Price, we very well may see Moore and Pendleton playing together tomorrow. You might be more prescient than you realized.

I do not know if this is correct, but it seemed to me FB did not drop back very far. After the game l was eating next to some very nice TX fans. Interesting what they told me, and I did not insult them by asking them who told them. They were a group of professional men that flew to the game, and talked about TN was better than they showed, very respectful. Honestly, told me if had another qtr thought TN would beat them.

But, that Muschamp had picked up that FB did not drop back very far and they planned to put a serious rush on him. And, that if they did that from the start they felt like the “the freshman, as good as he is would get shook.“
They also knew Muschamp well enough he told his team they were not going to let a freshman beat them.”
Anyone else notice that he did not drop back very far.
I dont know what Muschamo said to his defense, but i do know very early in the game, maybe FBs first drop back, a Texas defender clotheslined him and took a 15 yard penalty for a late hit. That seemed intentional and coached from my seat.

Living in the Chicago burbs back then created some special times and memories watching Da Bears.
I’ll bet. I was 1 year old in 85, but I don’t think there has been a more renowned football team. SNL was making Da Bears skits well into the mid 90’s!
