Week 1 of the season you generally see 50% more false starts by OL. With our patchwork OL it certainly seemed just like that. This team is improving. JG has been effective in managing the ball and limiting turnovers. A lot of good things going on with this team. We need to get some horses on the recruiting trial.

Did you not see all the negative posts on here after the USCjr game? We are terrible, the coaches can't coach, JG should be benched for KC, the defense was porous, the team quit. It makes for a very hard time reading all the negativity after a loss. People seem to have forgotten that the Gamecocks were expected to challenge Georgia for the East this year. It isn't like they don't have any talent. Like him or not, Muschamp has had good recruiting classes, and recruited to the needs of the team instead of number of stars just to get the high ranking. Add in the fact that our best OL is lost and the coaches had to play someone less athletic than Smith, I thought the OL did a good job. This team is getting better on a weekly basis, but the fans have to be patient. It ain't gonna happen overnight.

Most Vol fans are a bunch of arm chair quarterbacks who know nothing about football. With Trey in the game we win.Next year the O-Line will lead the team.

Tim Priest on the Vol radio game blamed the UT center for some of them...the OL reacted together with the ball not getting centered. He attributed that to the whole side of the line moving at the same time with the ball still in the hands of the center.

Noise was a huge factor. They were using a silent snap count. They also had a new LT.

Hopefully we can make it noisy for KY and Mizzou in that regard. Or even Vandy as at least 60% of the crowd will be Vol fans.
